Every ad account sits under somebody’s standing.

Yours or a reseller’s. It makes no difference on a quiet week, and all the difference on the morning a limit is refused, an ad is rejected, or a payment does not clear. This page is the mechanism underneath, with what it does not cover written down beside it.

The mechanism

The request is the same. The sender is not.

A platform partnership is not a badge and not a discount. It is a status the platform grants to a company, reviews, and can take back. Accounts opened underneath it inherit it.

That is the whole of the mechanism. It is also why the same three requests, sent on the same day about the same account, come back differently depending on who signs them.

Escalation

Somebody has to read it.

A public appeal form is a shared queue. The volume is enormous, the first pass is automated, and there is no counterparty on the other side of it.

What partnership changes is not the policy. It is that a person who can see the account, and who knows who stands behind it, reads the case, and that a reason comes back either way, including when the reason is no.

39.2M1

Advertiser accounts Google suspended in 2024, up from 12.7 million the year before. Ninety-seven per cent of that enforcement was machine-detected.

When a decision made at that scale goes against you, there is nobody on the other side of the form to explain it.

What the public form returned

Rejected: does not comply with our Advertising Policies.

That was all of it.

The actual cause

The creative promised delivery in three days. The store’s own shipping page said five to nine.

Who read it

A named partner contact, with the account’s history and ours in front of them.

What we filed

The change, written out, through the partner channel the day the notice landed.

The outcome

Not overturned. The claim could not be substantiated.

A same-day reading and a straight answer. Not a reversal, and we would rather say so than keep filing.
Illustrative. The notice is paraphrased, not quoted.

The ceiling

A starter limit is a question about the payer.

A new account climbs a rung schedule because the platform does not know who is paying. That is the whole of it: a starter limit is the platform derisking an unknown payer.

Under our standing you are not an unknown payer. Your ads do not run on a card at all. They run on a credit line held with the platform in our name, and that is the instrument these platforms trust most. You pay us however suits you. What the platform sees is a counterparty it already invoices.

  • Your wallet
  • Rockads credit line
  • The ad account

The platform’s counterparty is us. That is why it clears, and it is why the limit is a conversation rather than a schedule.

  • Nothing to decline at a billing threshold
  • Nothing sitting with a bank over a weekend
  • No card to read the spend as fraud

Questions

The ones a sceptic asks.

Written for the reader who assumes “official partner” is a nicer word for middleman.

Is “official partner” a badge you bought?

No. It is a status each platform grants to a company, reviews, and can take back. We hold it and extend it to the accounts we open underneath it, which is why it cannot be sold, transferred or acquired for a quarter. If a platform withdrew it, every account beneath it would feel that the same week, which is exactly why we are careful about what we agree to sponsor.

What does the platform get out of this?

One accountable counterparty instead of ten thousand unknown ones. We verify the entity, we look at the offer before it runs, we carry the payment, and we are the company the platform invoices and can hold to account. Reviewing us once is cheaper for them than reviewing every advertiser cold, and that is the whole reason the arrangement exists.

Does the partnership cover every platform we advertise on?

It covers the platforms we name, and only those. Where we are not partnered we can still open and fund an account, but the escalation route and the limit conversation are the ordinary ones, and we will tell you which is which before you commit rather than after.

Does it mean our ads skip review?

No. The same automated review runs on your creative as on everyone else’s, and the same policies apply to it. What changes is what happens after a decision: a person who can see the account reads the case, and a reason comes back either way.

If an appeal fails, what did the partnership buy?

A same-day reading and a specific answer instead of a policy code and a place in a queue. Where the ad genuinely broke the policy, nothing we send changes the answer, and we would rather say that plainly than keep filing so it looks like we are working.

Would you ever turn us down?

Sometimes, yes. Every account we open runs under our standing, so an offer, a claim or a delivery promise the platform will act on is our problem as much as yours. We would rather lose the week than open something we would have to defend with an argument we do not believe.

What happens if you lose standing on a platform?

You would hear it from us before you heard it from the platform, and we would move what could be moved into your own entity, which is where it already is. It is also the reason the review runs before an account opens rather than after an ad is rejected.

The test

The test is whether you can leave.

The accounts are opened in your own company and your own billing entity, so there is nothing here to hand back. Our leverage comes from the platform, not from holding your assets, which means we have no structural reason to hold anything.
